Collage

Here is a collage project that we did using tissue paper. After the tissue was dry we used markers and pastels to outline our collage designs. We then added a cityscape to our collage. I decided to use more of a country outline because that describes me more as a person.

Collages would be great projects for the holidays. There are so many different kinds of tissue paper to use that go along with the different holidays. Students can then add some sort of design using construction paper that goes along with the holiday. For example, if you were to do this project at Christmas time you could collage with Christmas paper and then use a Christmas Tree or a present something to go along with Christmas.
